A Middle-eastern Cabaret Style belly dancer; Kaliyah
Silverwing began taking Belly Dance instruction in the late
1990's and now performs at local festivals and other venues.
Having instructors such as
Aneena, Jamilla al Wahid,
Mirjana,
Momo Kaddus, Shukriya, and
Suzanna Del Vecchio, Kaliyah has learned a variety
of techniques and she shows the fused result within her
performances. Additional instruction received from Coke
Tempe, Daila Carella, Farasha, Leila Haddad, Michelle De Vine,
Suffiyah, Morocco, Philadelphia Tribal, Rhea, and Su'ad.
Kaliyah typically dances solo to recorded music ensuring
your undivided attention, but she has coordinated and
participated in duets on occasion.
Kaliyah is Assistant Director for Sand Shimmers Dance
Troupe and assists Mirjana in teaching at the Warminster REC and
MontCo CC.
